Text Amendment cases seek to modify the text of the Zoning Regulations and may include changing definitions of terms, modifying development standards, creating new zones, or adjusting allowable uses among other issues.

The Zoning Commission will evaluate and approve, disapprove, or modify a text amendment petition to ensure petitions are not inconsistent with the Comprehensive Plan and with other adopted public policies and active programs related to the subject text.
